5 Tips to help your snoring problem.

Snoring is not a problem if you live alone and nobody will hear that bear growling voice within your nose. But when you have a partner on your bed, this could be a big issue and can ruin your relationship.

Many people don’t realize that they were snoring when falling asleep, it’s because they cannot hear their own snoring sound. So if you want to know whether you are snoring or no, the best way is to ask your partner, or family or friends who have been sleeping together with you.

There are many ways to help reducing your snoring problem, these five tips will provide you with some useful information on how to do it.

Tip 1: Check out your diet.

The first thing you can do is check your diet. It is a good starting since there are possibilities that you have an allergic reaction to some food that will affect your breathing, especially when you are asleep. For example is the dairy products, too much of this on your diet can produce a lot of mucus inside your nose and trachea. When you are on your back, this mucus will likely cause a heavy breathing or snoring. Other thing to avoid is alcohol, which scientist proved to cause a snoring.

Tip 2: Control your weight!

Your weight is another significant contributor. People with an overweight issue tend to have more snoring problem than people with normal weight.

Tip 3: Change your sleeping positions

Snoring usually occurred when you are sleeping on your back, so changing your sleeping positions can greatly reduced your snoring problem. Try to sleep on your side or front. But this is hard to do since you cant control your positions while asleep! But there is a trick that might be worth considering. Place a table tennis ball into the back of your shirt if you’re going to sleep. Each time you change your position to your back, the ball will hurt you and you will be rolled again to your previous positions.

Tip 4: Nasal strips

These technique was very helpful to reduce your snoring. Nasal strips that often used by an athletes will open up the air passage for you, and it will help you to prevent blockages. Try this tips if you are really desperate with your snoring problem.

Tip 5: The last resort

The last thing you can do to cure your snoring is by excercising the muscle that have a direct influence to your snoring issue. That muscle is tongue and throat. This exercise can help you a lot. If all of those tip can’t help you with your snoring problem, then I suggest you consult your specialist doctor for further treatment.
